Where are our architectural photographs?

When visiting our Showroom, which only shows a few examples, you may wonder “where are all your architectural photographs?” Actually, I have the same question, but fortunately, it’s not too difficult to answer.

Max and I have been independent photographers for years. Each of us has our own website for a long time. When we decided to start a business, it didn’t mean that we could just merge the two websites into one. It just doesn’t work that way from a business point of view. So we created some new images for the business website, which are what you see in the Gallery. And we include links to Max’s website and mine on the About page so that you can learn more about our work on our personal websites if you like. From the marketing point of view, however, this might not be the best way to do it.

So what can we do? How can we show our photographic skills and styles? This is then a more difficult question to answer because I have my style and Max has his own. Therefore, before we can answer that question, we’d like to keep the website “clean,” and that’s why most of our architectural photographs are not shown here. Actually, not all my architectural photographs are shown on my personal website, either!

While we would continue to display some architectural photographs we made in the past here on our blog, what we really want to do is to make new photographs with our style (yes, singular not plural). If you think developing your own photographic style is difficult, imagine doing it with a partner. I know we are not Bernd and Hilla Becher and we will never be, but I like the challenge. We are planning on a few projects that directly address this challenge, and we hope we can share that with you in the near future. In the meantime, here is another photograph I made back in 2009.
