Documentary Film AJ CARR – Technical Information

We recently finished our first documentary film AJ CARR, which is about the 14-year-old CEO of Building Bosses, Inc., Ajani Carr. In the film, he talks about the initiatives he wants to do to serve the community as well as the ups and downs during his journey. Below is the official trailer of the film.

Technical Information

The entire film was shot with a Blackmagic Design URSA mini 4.6K camera at the resolution 4608×1920. Most of the scenes were shot with a Schneider Xenon FF T2.1/35mm lens and a few was done with a Zeiss Otus 85mm f/1.4 ZE lens. I used Adobe Premiere Pro for editing and DaVinci Resolve 12.5 for color grading. Most of the sound was recorded using a Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun microphone and then processed with Adobe Audition.

Most of the time, the camera was on a tripod. On some occasions, I rented an Easyrig Vario 5 with Flowcine Serene to support the camera so that I could move around more easily.

I also designed the poster, which was done in Adobe Illustrator.

If you have any question about the film, please leave your comment below.
